Social Initiatives

Hometown Tax Donations
Through the "Hometown Tax Donation" program, we deliver our cashmere knits to customers all over Japan every year. We have contributed a total of 1.7 billion yen to Kitakami City, Iwate Prefecture, where our factory is located, donating 200 million yen annually.

Efforts to support Tohoku reconstruction
In response to the Great East Japan Earthquake, we developed bookmarks knitted from cashmere "leftover yarn." In collaboration with students, bookstores, and museums, we sell these bookmarks. For every bookmark sold, we donate 100 yen. We've been continuing this initiative for 12 years since the disaster.
